Embung kledung is a big pool where located the city state between Temanggung and Wonosobo. Embung Kledung is meaning : Reservoir in Kledung, Temanggung, Central Java.
It was built rainfed reservoir. Embung was built as a means of farmers around for getting water. Perhaps at first glance we assume Waterford is location lush, green, and never will be a drought, but the facts say another. Of the 20 districts, 14 of which are vulnerable to the threat of drought. From year to year, the danger is even more severe drought. Deforestation and excessive exploitation of the soil on the slopes of Mount Sindoro touted as one of the culprits.
Present day, there are a lot of people coming at this place. We can see a great panorama and taking a picture the other mount there, that is Sumbing Mount.
Unfortunately, there are not allowed to swimming at this pool. I don't know the reason, may be there's no safeguard but just some local villagers who serve the ticket. To go there, we only pay for the ticket Rp 5 k.
